What is my jewellery made out of?
Dependant on the piece as some are made from gemstones, glass beads, Swarovski crystal or pearls, the description will state what the jewellery is made from. All* metal components are either sterling silver, 14 carat gold-filled or 14 carat rose gold-filled precious metals and all comply to EU regulations regarding Nickel content.
*Except Christmas earrings which state the materials used to make them within the product description
What does 14 carat gold-filled mean?
Gold-filled refers to a solid layer of gold that has been rolled around a base metal core. The quantity of gold must be at minimum 5% of the weight of the metal to qualify as gold-filled. In the case of 14 carat gold-filled, it means that the solid layer of gold is 14 carat gold, which is an indication of the purity of the gold used. Generally gold-filled contains a much higher quantity of gold than gold plate and as such the quality of the metal is higher.

Ring gift boxes are black (made from recycled boxboard and covered in a glossy textured outer) with a black foam insert. Each box is decorated with a hand made flower made out of plated wire. Each order is shipped with a small grey jewellery polishing cloth that contains tarnish remover.
*Except Christmas earrings which are packaged in a black organza bag tied with a black satin ribbon
How do I take care of my jewellery?
All jewellery is best kept in a dry environment, and not stored in extreme temperatures. Your jewellery will be shipped with a polishing cloth that can be used for cleaning if needed. The cloth should not be used on any stones or pearls within the jewellery. Beyond keeping it dry and cleaning with the cloth, your jewellery should not need any special attention to take care of it.
